NPL quantum communication standards workshop

The National Physical Laboratory are hosting an online Quantum Communications Standards workshop, supported by the British Standards Institution and the Quantum Communications Hub. The workshop will be held virtually on Wednesday 12 October and is aiming is to establish the standardization requirements in this area from a UK perspective.

These requirements will be fed back to the government through the NPL Quantum Programme and shared with the BSI Quantum Technologies panel.

Speakers include Tim Spiller, Quantum Communications Hub Director, and experts on Quantum Key Distribution (QKD), Quantum Random Number Generators (QRNGs) and QKD network standards.
